Our Wasabi Powder is a pale, green horseradish-like paste made from a semi-aquatic wild plant of the cabbage family. Wasabi aids digestion, works as a germicide and helps clear the sinuses. Use Wasabi Powder as a condiment for sushi, sashimi and noodle dishes by mixing a small amount of hot water with a little powder to make a thick paste. Allow the paste to rest for a minute to release its fiery qualities. Wasabi enhances the flavour of most fish, especially tuna, yellowtail and salmon. For a kick, add to mayonnaise, marinades, dips and dressings.
